Job Description Summary

This individual will act as front-line point of contact for employee inquiries which include but not limited to Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Regulatory & Compliance, Employee Relations, Information Technology, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRIS, Procurement and Accounts Payable functions. He or She will be responsible to coordinate and maintain the full employee life cycle within the standard company processes and various platforms.

About the Role:

  • Junior People Services Advisor in large and complex organization supporting US Employee base

  • Responsible to provide Shared Services Tier 1 level support to include 15,000 employee base

  • Respond to questions regarding standard hiring and onboarding practices, procedures and tools to assist employees.

  • Collaborate and liaise with various stakeholders and HR Centers of Excellence

  • Provide guidance and support hiring and onboarding transactions in HRIS systems (Workday) via Manager or Employee self-service (MSS, ESS)

  • Maintain documentation and reporting within HRIS and HR Case Management tool

  • Meet standard Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)

  • Create/edit written communications, reports, or other items on a daily basis

  • Provide high-level customer service to all internal and external clients across all levels and business lines (including Brokerage)

  • Communicate successfully using multiple types of technology – email, phone, messaging, etc.

  • Administer Talent Admin processes including Interview Scheduling, Background Check, Purchase Order etc.

  • Ensure proper compliance with DOL, EEOC, and Wage and Hour provisions to include entry and maintenance of employee records and required labor law postings

  • Maintain direct ownership of tasks/projects

  • Maintain confidential department records and office files in accordance with internal company procedures

  • Perform all the duties of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator but under limited supervision for routine situations.

  • Advise on tier two cases that are not routine and require experience and analysis to solve

  • Perform self-directed work on a regular basis, with a focus on gaining exposure to more of the complex tasks within HR Services

  • Contribute to project-specific work; work may be moderately complex

  • Regularly advise and solve problems that are routine in nature, as well as those requiring interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.

  • Communicate information that requires some explanation or interpretation.

  • Help maintain documentation and guidelines to establish standards and procedures for handling employees' questions

About You:

  • Associate Degree (Bachelor Degree preferred)

  • Experience with Workday

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Excel working in a very fast paced environment

  • Organized; detail oriented; versatile

  • Demonstrates self-direction and ability to work under moderate supervision

  • Demonstrates ability to be a leader among peers, through mentoring and training new HR Advisors

  • Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrates strong verbal/written communication skills

  • Demonstrates sense of urgency, prioritization, flexibility, and adaptability

  • Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate ownership of job tasks
