Within this role, you will focus on providing planning advice within our priority areas (residential, public sector, education, commercial/industrial, and retail/leisure), supporting the team’s Business Plan to develop our client portfolio and increase revenue. You will work closely with clients and senior colleagues, developing relationships and ensuring professional, accurate advice is delivered within set deadlines for specific projects.Job Description
Additionally, you will be expected to develop your internal and external network, seek new business opportunities, and collaborate with other team members and departments to explore potential cross-selling opportunities.
You should have at least one year of post-qualification (MRTPI) professional planning experience, with confidence in advising clients and independently managing smaller planning instructions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Person Specification
- 2-3 years of broad planning experience with demonstrable technical competence in relevant sectors.
- Understanding of business development and client relationship management.
- Strong knowledge of the Midlands market and local industry trends.
- Interest and understanding of the wider real estate sector.
- Business and report writing experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree-level qualification.
- MRTPI Qualified (or close to completion).
- Ideally 1+ years of post-MRTPI experience.
