About the Role:
- Financial Closing - Manage and support financial reporting and closing in compliance with local GAAP.
- Financial Operations - Cashflow Forecast: Prepare a 13-week cash flow forecast for weekly submission to the Treasury team. - Accounts Receivable Management: o Manage trade receivables, prepare AR aging reports, collect payments, and reconcile accounts. o Ensure accurate cash applications and compliance. o Send statements of accounts to key customers regularly. - Accounts Payable Management: o Manage accounts payables, process supplier invoices, schedule payments, and ensure timely payments. o Oversee supplier invoice processing and payment schedules. o Review tax receipts issued by suppliers for accuracy and compliance.
- Statutory Reporting and Audits - Prepare year-end statutory financial statements in accordance with Thailand laws and FRS. o Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors. o Coordinate the audit of annual accounts and ensure financial statements are accurate. o Oversee the entire audit process and follow up on adjustments. o Prepare audit journals and subsequent adjustment journals. o Conduct flux analysis for management sign-off.
- Tax Compliance - Calculate and prepare mid-year and annual corporate income tax returns. - Prepare and submit withholding tax (WHT) and value-added tax (VAT) returns. - Respond to queries from tax authorities during audits. - Assist in the audit process for withholding tax refunds.
- Process Improvement and Other Responsibilities - Drive change management for process efficiencies and lead process improvements. - Support the Annual Operating Plan process. - Undertake other projects and assignments as needed
About You:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance with minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting and audit, preferably with experience in an audit firm.
- Knowledge of Thailand Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS).
- Proficient in MS applications, including Excel.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements. - Experience with internal and external financial and regulatory audits.
